We are looking for a Board Member to join our board of 12 to help us deliver this goal and make a real difference to our 10,000 customers across North Devon. We own 3,200 homes and employ 100 staff who make a positive and lasting change to the rural communities across our region.

As a forward thinking and innovative business you can expect to get a lot of value out of a position on our Board. The role will be a real opportunity to challenge your thinking and develop your own skills and experience as you help us shape our business in a fast changing environment.

At this time we are looking to replace a Board Member with financial expertise and, ideally, with financial knowledge in the RSL sector. We hold up to eight meetings a year and meet on a Monday evening in Barnstaple, North Devon.

The position is unpaid although reasonable travelling expenses are reimbursed. We want to ensure that our Board reflects the community we serve and we welcome applications from all sectors of the community.

Based in Bideford in North Devon, Tarka Housing, part of Westward Housing Group, manages approximately 1700 homes across Torridge District.
